Nutritional Therapy
What is Nutritional Therapy
Nutritional therapy is all about using food and lifestyle choices to support your health and wellbeing. It looks at how your body is working now and what it might need to function at its best — whether that’s improving energy, supporting recovery, managing symptoms or simply feeling better day to day.
Your nutritional therapist will take the time to understand your health story, look for any signs of nutritional imbalances, and help you make personalised changes to your diet and lifestyle that work for you.
A healthy gut is the foundation for good overall health. By improving digestion and the balance of bacteria in your gut, we can help your body absorb nutrients better, support your immune system, improve focus and energy, and reduce inflammation.
Over time, this can also help lower the risk of long-term conditions like arthritis, osteoporosis, autoimmune issues, cognitive decline and chronic fatigue.
We can also test for food sensitivities using a simple finger-prick blood test, which helps identify foods that may be triggering delayed immune responses (up to 72 hours after eating). Removing these trigger foods and supporting gut health can help calm inflammation — a major contributor to many chronic health issues — and strengthen your immune system.
