Emily’s interest for chiropractic began after being treated by Tim Button whilst sprint training and was amazed at it’s positive effect on an athlete’s body and performance.
For five years, including 12months in clinical practice, Emily studied at the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic. To complete her dissertation she worked with a company looking at military equipment and its effect on the body. At the end of her time at university, she gained her Master’s degree and received the ‘Best Clinical Performance’ award.
During her time at university, Emily also learned about dry needling and instrument-assisted soft tissue techniques, which she now incorporates into her holistic treatments.
She provides pitch side support for Cleve RFC, after previously doing it for various sports teams whilst studying in Wales.
Emily continues to further her skills and knowledge by attending Continuing Professional Development events.
She is registered with the General Chiropractic Council, the British Chiropractic Association and the Royal College of Chiropractors.
